Networked Journalism: Pittsburgh
In Pittsburgh, the Post-Gazette decided to focus their networked journalism project on one subject: Marcellus Shale. They launched the Pipeline website on February 27, 2011.
"We’re looking for citizen journalists and community members who want to chronicle this phenomenon with us. We can share links to one another’s content, help engage our neighbors and even partner on stories later in the year. We can point readers to your blog, share your photos and multimedia—or collaborate in a new way that hasn’t been done before."
