Networked Journalism: Charlotte
Editors at the Charlotte Observer believe hyperlocal sites are “just beginning to blossom” in their area. By actively bringing the journalists from those sites together, the paper is hoping to expand their network in a number of interesting ways.
April 26, 2011: The Charlotte Observer launches the Charlotte News Alliance, aiming to cover their region with hyperlocal partners.
