In recent years, Journalism scholars and practitioners in the U.K. have been paying close attention to experiments in the U.S. to foster collaboration between community news sites and larger mainstream media outlets.
This was a key topic at the Community Journalism Conference at Cardiff University in Wales, Jan. 16, 2012. To help spur this discussion, J-Lab’s Jan Schaffer was invited to present findings on the report, “Networked Journalism: What Works.”
