“We realized that media ideas are coming from a lot of different places,” she said. “They’re coming from traditional journalists. They’re coming from nonprofits and NGOs [non-governmental organizations] who are now creating a lot of media products that can be commoditized, but they don’t think of them that way,” Jan Schaffer said.
